Today Google launched their own web browser called Google Chrome. The browser is open source and features a lightweight design and simple controls. The browser is based around the WebKit browser engine which is also used by Apple in their Safari web browser.

When we design a website for our clients we test it to make sure it renders and functions correctly in the latest version of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera and now, Google Chrome. Every web browser displays websites ever so slightly differently so it is vital we test every page to make sure your website looks fantastic in all browsers!

We always recommend that our clients keep their browser up-to-date to make sure it supports the latest coding practices and standards.

Overall I’ve been very impressed by the speed that Chrome renders a web page. It only uses a small amount of system memory compared to Internet Explorer and has a very nice, uncluttered interface. The quality of the new Google web browser should ensure it becomes a very popular choice.
