Q) Your prices are much lower than larger website design companies. Will this compromise the design?

Absolutely not.  We are able to keep our prices low because most of our work is generated by word of mouth so we rarely have to advertise.  We also keep our overheads very low and pass these savings on to our clients.

We take pride in every design we create and have built up an impressive portfolio and have received many testimonials from our clients who have been delighted with out work. 

We want you to be 100% happy with our work so have set up several peace of mind policies to protect you.

Q) Do I have to pay a deposit?

No. We don't think you should have to pay any money until you see what you will be getting.  We create several mock-up designs to show you how the finished website will look.  You are free to suggest any changes you'd like to the designs (at no extra cost).  If you are unhappy with our mock-up designs you are free to walk away without paying us a penny!

If you are happy with the design we come up with we will tweak this and create the first working web page.  If you are happy with the first finished page we ask for 50% of the commission price to complete the entire project.  The other 50% is required on completion of the website. 

When the payment is received we will upload the final site and submit it to all major search engines for you.

If you wish to pay up front for the website we deduct 5% from the quoted price!

Q) How long will it take to design my website?

This will vary on the size and complexity of your site.  A simple one page website can be ready in a few days but a large e-commerce store may take several weeks.  When we create your quote we will also give you a predicted time scale for the work. 

If you have a strict deadline to work to we will make very effort to work to your time frame to ensure your website is completed on time.

Q) What do you charge to maintain and update my website?

You may have noticed most website design companies charge a monthly fee to keep your website online.  They also charge by the hour to update your website (even if you just want to tweak a line of text).  These prices can grow and grow and we don't believe you should have to pay for these small updates so we offer free minor updates on every website we host!

We define a minor update as changing an existing part of the site.  For example, you may wish to alter some text, change an image, upload a new banner etc...  All of this will be taken care of for free if we host your website! 

If you need a larger update to your website (adding a brand new page for example) we will quote a small fee before hand based on the time it will take.  You are then free to decide if you wish to go ahead with the update.

Our hosting packages are all FREE for the first 12 months!  The price for hosting the site after the first year will be quoted in your original website quote. This price will not increase in the future. 

Q) What does hosting mean?

Every website has to be 'hosted' on a server to be online.  Your domain name is then linked to the hosting company so your site can be viewed online.  Because the server is 'always on' your website will be visible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. *

We offer very completive pricing for our hosting with prices starting at just £40.00 per year.  Every website we design has 12 months of free hosting included!  We also offer several bonuses if we host your website:

• We offer free minor updates to every website we host!

• We renew your domain name very year and pay the fees for you

• We setup e-mail accounts for you on all hosting packages

• We take care of any administrative details relating to your website

If you wish to host the website yourself this is also fine.  Although our free minor update offer does not apply to websites hosted externally we will still do everything we can to help you register your domain name and maintain your site if needed.

Q) Can you register a domain name for my website?

Yes.  In fact, we offer a free .co.uk domain name with every single website package.  This domain name will be registered under you names so you will legally be the owner of the domain and are free to transfer it at any stage.  We can also register .com domain names for a small yearly fee.

When a domain name is registered it has to be renewed yearly.  If we are hosting your website we will take care of this and will even pay the yearly fee for you!

If you've already registered a domain name with another company we will still be able to link this to your new website at no extra cost!

Q) Do you offer search engine optimisation on your websites?

Yes.  Every time we design a website we have several key words and phrases in mind that we build the pages around.  We optimise all page names, titles, keywords and meta tags free of charge with all website packages.

We also offer a more advanced search engine optimisation service for clients looking to increase rankings on certain set search phrases.  Getting a good position in search engines is complicated and can take several months to achieve.  We do all our optimisation by hand and, unlike some optimisation companies, we never make promises we can't keep.

Every search engine has their own method of ranking sites and can take several months to fully index a website.  The whole process can take several months before the full search rankings are determined.  We make sure we stick to each search engine's own guidelines and rules so your website will not be penalised.

Q) How much do you charge for advanced search engine optimisation?

We feel very strongly that you should not have to pay for the search engine optimisation work if it does not get you results.  You may have noticed many companies offering to get you to number 1 in every search engine over night.  In reality it doesn't work this way.  The process can take several months and it is imperative the optimisation work stays within the search engine's guidelines and rules.

We do not charge anything to start optimisation work on websites we design.  Instead, we charge by the search engine rankings we achieve for you.  So, if the optimisation doesn't work or increase your position then you don't have to pay!

Q) Do you offer support for my website?

Yes. We offer FREE support via telephone or e-mail for the duration we are hosting your website.  We can offer our help on solving problems, giving marketing advice, recommending sales strategies and more.

When the website is finished and payment is received you will also be presented with a free CD on request containing all the backup files for the website and pages for your future reference!

Some of our websites come with additional free extras such as glossy business cards with your logo and contact details.

We also run a free Google AdWords promotional campaign for every website we design to promote your services.
