Vinyards and Markets
Vineyards - This area is famous for its vineyards, some of
which are the oldest in the world.
The
vineyards are dotted all around this area in places like Agde,
Marseillan, Pomerols, Pinet, Beziers to name but a few.
It
is possible to go wine tasting and purchase wine at the
vineyards.
Markets - There is a traditional
market held in Cap d’Agde on Saturday and one in Agde every
Thursday, all year round. In Cap d’Agde Centre Port there are
speciality stands every day in Summer season – food, crafts,
wine etc.
Pezenas - Traditional Market every Saturday throughout the
year.
