Cap d'Agde is located on the Southern tip of France. It is a
modern seaside resort and occupies one of the best sites on the

There are no less than eight marinas along its shore. The
architectural style of the town centre is inspired by
traditional Languedoc architecture.
It
is a place of unique contrasts with seven beaches of beautiful
fine sand. Ten areas with their own individual style,
atmosphere, habitat and way of life. Throughout the season
this Languedoc-Roussillon resort lives to the rhythm of sport,
festivals and the Mediterranean. Truly a resort for
everyone all year round.
Agde is the old town. In fact it is the second oldest
town in France. It was founded 2500 years ago. It is
steeped in history and has a fortified Roman cathedral,
ramparts, churches, museums and not forgetting the quays on the
river Herault, the Promenade.
Montpellier
Montpellier is the capital of the
Languedoc-Roussillon, It is home to a youthful and dynamic
university culture, and has a host of artistic festivals and
events.
Good places to go and soak up the atmosphere
are the Place de la Comedie, a lively square with many
brasseries, cinemas and theatres, Place Jean-Jaures, Rue de
l’Universite and the surrounding streets, in the vast setting
provided by the Polygone and the far east end of the Antigone
district.
There are a vast array of shops and many
shopping centres. Ideal city for shopping and people watching.
Beziers
Capital of the Languedoc vineyards and home
town of Pierre-Paul Riquet (who designed the Canal du Midi).
Visit the Allees Paul-Riquet, which is lined
with numerous brasseries with pleasant shaded terraces, cinemas
(to the east) and bars (to the west) or Place Jean-Jaures, where
the fountains are illuminated in the evening.
On 15 August Beziers hosts a particularly
lively summer festival the Feria du Beziers.
The central covered market (halles) is open
Tuesday to Sunday. Other food markets are held on Tuesday
mornings in Place Emile-Zola, on Wednesday mornings in the
Iranget district and on Friday mornings in Place David d’Angers.

Golf - Cap d'Agde's excellent golf course is set in a rich
Mediterranean landscape close to the sea, the international 18
hole course is ideally construed for golfing enthusiasts.
The wonderful climate makes golfing possible all year long.
Water Sports - Jet ski hire, water skiing, boat hire and
diving are all available.
Tennis - There is a large tennis centre with both outdoor
and indoor courts.
Walking - There are many beautiful and interesting places to
walk near the villa, including a forest and indeed many other
walks bordering the golf course and beaches.
