This site is for “Shakies” milkshake shop in Weymouth. The shop has just opened in Weymouth and has a fun and exiting atmosphere that we've aimed to recreate on the website. The website features custom made graphics while incorporating the existing Shakies logo in to the design.

 

         

 

The site makes use of bright colours and images based on the shops interior. It features content aimed at all ages. We have implemented Java Scripts for special effects (such as scrolling text and screen effects).

 

Sound and interactive features have also been added. An online menu with the latest flavours features and can be updated to allow for new flavours in the future!

 

         

 

         

 

A custom designed “Virtual Milkshake Machine” was created to allow users to mix their own milkshakes and see the final results! This feature also allows users to save their designs and print off the final milkshakes! 

 

A “hit counter” and data tracker were added and the website was promoted to major search engines to fully advertise it. Interactive features such as being able to vote for a favourite flavour and the ability to recommend new flavours was also added to the site!
